Thursday, April 16, 2020 - Color: deep ruby
Nose: so interesting. Something lactic, ripe cherry and raspberry, plum, tobacco leaf and iron leaving a bloody impression. Some roses? And earth
Palate: more muted than other aglianicos, may be because I had a 2016. Tannins are fine, acidity medium-high, body medium-full. Bloody and minerals, tomato concentrate, same fruit as the nose
Finish: medium

Quite pleasant, more delicate than expected for an aglianico (My nuclear option usually), and lots of bloody notes. Less depth than I get from aglianico and confusingly I can't get the pepper note
