Wednesday, April 22, 2020 - Another wonderful pristine Lafon. Not water pale, more butter yellow, deeper than a recent ‘11 Perrières. At first when icy cold the lemony acidity prevailed but with air and a bit of warmth the lovely apricot skin, almond and hint of grilled pineapple emerged. Medium full, nice texture, just a bit of oak. Very Charmes indeed. Still young and could even develop more depth and nuance in a few more years.
