Thursday, April 23, 2020 - I poured into a half bottle and decanted the remaining half. Nice and balanced, with a dry edge, still vigorous and stood up to food, but a lack of fruit made it a bit rough for me. The second night it started a bit smoother. but still a bit coarse. This was my last bottle and I'm not sure if waiting any longer would have improved it - I imagine the rough edge would mellow and the wine is focused enough to age well, but the lack of fruit may be a problem. Still, I enjoyed the wine.
