Friday, April 24, 2020 - Not decanted. I think Tanzer's 90 on this wine was a bit too low. This was rocking. The Ciel du Cheval structure and tannin was surely there, but this is great right now. Slight coffee scents amidst the copious black fruit. On the palate, it's still chewy, but the blackberry and currant fruit just rocks into a long finish. Could improve, but not by much. Will definitely hold for a while.
