Sunday, May 3, 2020 - Single blind tasting
Pale straw
Aromatics medium +. New oak. Yellow ripe apple.
Palate medium + with medium acid and no phenolic bitterness. Yellow apples and butter.
Finish has a medium length. Balance seems to lean more towards the acid with a relative absence of fruit on the palate compared to the nose. The wine really suggests a new world Chardonnay given the oak and butter notes.
