Tuesday, May 5, 2020 - Drank alongside a 2016 Boillot Mouchere and the resemblance was quite uncanny. Lots of reduction (though the boillot had more), a bit of nicely toasty oak but no buttery flavors. Big fruit, high acidity. The finish suffered slightly from a mild odd sourness (almost beer-ish) that, truth be told, I barely noticed at first but my drinking companion picked up on. Really impressive.
