Friday, May 22, 2020 - A good Friday night wine. Has good body and medium weight with the leather, mild tobacco, and sour cherry. Not as serious and nuanced as the top cuvées, but was accessible right from the start and really good with charcuterie, cheese and dipping bread as well as holding up over several hours of enjoyment. Upped my score as it took on a "sweet" cherry and polished finish on the last glass. I think it is fully mature, but will hold there for a few more years.
