Monday, June 15, 2020 - A fine value CDP....
On nose: damp earth , notes of dark ripe fruit and a ghost of floral lavender ( lilac?)
On palate : all above flavours , in addition to complex notes of pomegranate, beef drippings and notes of thyme and rosemary .....high alcohol ( 14.5%) , but well integrated with the oak and fruit ....went well with pork loin and roast potatoes .....Will age well...
