Wednesday, July 1, 1992 - Champagne Tasting at The Beverly Hills Wine Merchant (Beverly Hills, Ca.): Nose of Gala Apple, shale, slate, touch of honey, and spring flowers, on the palate, big body, almost elegant, very tasty, mouth filling, crisp, refreshing, tiny bubbles make for a lovely mousse, the perfect end for a glorious and first tasting of 10 or more Champagnes, long, lovely finish.
