Sunday, September 27, 2020 - Absolutely delicious, sappy, savory and slightly hedonistic blend of Syrah (85%) Mourvèdre and Grenache. It brings back memories of many fine wines from the Northern Rhone. I prefer this blend to many 100% Syrah bottlings of other producers. Very perfumed right out of the bottle, with intense floral and cassis aromas. Nice acid backbone, gentle tannins, medium+ body and length, and a very nice (13.5%) alcohol level that makes it an enjoyable wine for an entire meal. Slightly less aromatic on night two, but with a silkier mouthfeel.
