Tuesday, October 20, 2020 - 19 months in French is a lot of oak! However, on the nose the first note I get is that this is a well made wine. Following are notes of green bell pepper, tar, earth, tobacco and cedar. A spicy and bold front end give way to layers upon layers of oak through a mid length finish. It’s a somewhat interesting, somewhat yummy wine. Somewhat worth $40.
