Thursday, November 12, 2020 - 13.5% alcohol. Long dense cork. Decanted 35 mn ahead. Pale bright lemony colour.
The nose is very appealing with white flowers in evidence. In the mouth, the wine has plenty of energy but without any rough edges; refined pear-like flavours and subliminal oak (the best type). Very good depth and pretty long too.
A model of Côte de Beaune white emphasising elegance, tension and balance over opulence.
I have been buying this wine most years since 2011, and it has been pretty consistent. Looks like it could age another five years at least without problem.
