Thursday, November 26, 2020 - I bought this wine on my first ever trip to Barolo in 2011. I had just come from an amazing tasting at Roberto Voerzio and stumbled into a small shop in La Morra.
Tonight this this wine, while not as stellar as I remember it on that night in La Morra, continues to bring all of the things that I love about traditional Nebbiolo....tar, red flowers, leather, spice, sweet cherry fruit and elegant purity.
