93 Points

Thursday, November 26, 2020 - Last bottle of 6 held and drank over time from 2010 onward. Beautiful violet, floral nose. The sandalwood and strawberry have faded for a deeper profile of black fruits, fig, leather and tar, mushrooms. Still focused with medium weight, medium acid, coating the mouth for a silky finish. Well integrated tannins and just a delightful Barolo. At its peak. Enjoy now with proper decant. 93+
