96 Points

Sunday, December 27, 2020 - Youthful and slightly closed on aromas, yet the typical fresh Chablis that melt hearts come out with wonderfully concentrated and juicy citrus fruit, citrus peel and the lovely salty spring stone feeling that is experienced as liberating between these warm vintages that now characterize Chablis.

Pretty full-bodied and pronounced fresh Les Clos with beautifully concentrated juicy citrus fruit, lime peel and delicious salts. The balance between the pretty obese middle part, the fantastic crispy sea minerality and the fabulous fresh fruit is enormous, although it is still obvious that this one needs a little more decade to bloom. Wonderful acid-rich finish, with this fresh lime acid that creates desire.

Fantastic Les Clos which in my book beats the 2014 vintage. Here you get a classic Cablis feeling, yet with forward-facing fruit that impresses. sublime wine that has more to go on. 96 points. For now. (96-98p)
