92 Points

Tuesday, January 19, 2021 - From 375mL. Cork broke with waiter's opener, required rescue with a Durand. Significant sediment caked on the sides of the bottle. Deep ruby with minimal bricking; aromatic, raisins and spices, anise; palate is full bodied, high alcohol (20.5%) but balanced, medium fresh acidity throughout, plummy fruit, fairly primary still, lovely persistence through the midpalate; finish is medium-plus length. Excellent now, but this will have significant growth over the next decade and longer. 92+
