Wednesday, October 21, 2020 - Burgundy Bistro night (Newk's hideout, Bucktown, Chicago, IL): Nose: The nose is forward, expressive, and deep with peaches, lemon curds, red apples, stone fruits, oils, yellow flowers, vanilla, custard, and some jasmine notes. There is an understated power to this while it shows off great balance and poise.

Taste: The feel is Full bodied with tart, medium+ acidity. There is good density and depth to the feel with peaches, lemon curds, red apples, yellow flowers, vanilla, stone fruits, and jasmine.

Overall: This is young, but it is also fairly open with some air. It could likely benefit from another 3+ years of aging but it is also providing some real joy right now.
