Saturday, February 27, 2021 - This is a big, inky, luscious wine which I feel is at its peak. The powerful bouquet offers up singed cherry, pencil shavings, pine bark, and vanilla bean. On the palate, it offers a plush mouth feel with chewy tannins, cherry cola, crushed pomegranate, rhubarb pie, with a little tartness on the finish.
