Community Tasting Note

Thursday, March 18, 2021 - Two hours of aeration in wide bottom decanter; some reductive notes on PnP. Very aromatic, pretty red/purple floral, some citrus and even some black truffle. A full-bodied effort with sweet tannins, and avg length at this early stage. Shows promise, but not something I'll be searching out as it's not a style I gravitate toward; I'm certainly in the minority. A great gateway wine for those that are drinking full bodied Cali reds and are looking for an introduction to the Langhe. For the style, and it's complexity, etc., it's highly recommended+
