  Decanted for two hours, then finished the following day, this is concentrated, with velvety tannins, and some enticing treble notes. Dried raspberry, stewed strawberries, hazelnuts, leather and multiple floral notes. Early on the stewed character dominated and this was not revealing much, however, by day two this was singing. Full-bodied and an echoing finish prevails. This does remain elegant throughout. Drink 2024 - 2039.

  Aroma: menthol, wet stone, violets
  Palate: silky plum, cherry, strawberry and pomegranate flavors with notes of menthol, leather, cured meat and vanilla. Beautifully complex and structured. Moderate, sweet tannin and good acidity. Drinkable now but better in a few years.
