Sunday, March 28, 2021 - Nose of chocolate and blackberry with herbal notes. Palate was similar with distinctive sweet pepper after the fruit. Medium weight, long and versatile with food. Opened up gradually and seems like it could go for many years.

3/28/2021 10:57:00 PM - Didn’t decant too long but did have it open over an hour and then pumped and drank the following night and it did improve slightly. As it had an almost Burgundian earthiness it went great with mushroom/Brie soup.
