Thursday, April 8, 2021 - Very nice; a positive surprise. Seems to be at its peak or approaching - nowhere near the end of its window, which should go out to at least 2023. Lots of fine sediment; ran it twice through a Rabbit decanting screen to clear it out. If you don't screen and decant it might taste rough. This is a treat. Mature fruits still going strong, tannins very present yet fine and in balance, as is acid. No apparent sweetness but there may be some to taste the fruit.
