Sunday, April 18, 2021 - Nose: lime posset, complete with zest, cream, and biscuit. Lime leaf, and an elegant coolness. Ripe greengage plum - flesh and skin. A little sulfur still, but it’s young. Palate: superb juicy acidity, just a touch of spritz when at its coldest. Fruity at this point. Grippy through the mid-palate, and finishing clean and lithe, despite a little more sweetness at the end than I would like from a kabinett. Simpler than I was expecting but very delicious. 9%, $30.
