Sunday, May 2, 2021 - Clearly this wine has many years to go. I have had the wine in a decanter for a week and it is still evolving and drinking well. First night opened it was OK. Starting on Night two it really opened up and rounded out. I would suggest a very long decant, perhaps 24 hours, if you are planning to enjoy this port in the near term. The cork disintegrated when I tried to pull it and was very dried out. The wine did not seem to suffer in any way due to the poor condition of the cork. The 2029 drinking window seems short to me. 2035?
