Sunday, December 15, 2019 - Look: Deep gold; no legs
Nose: burnt caramel, pie crust, pineapple upside down cake, flint, apricot, slight butterscotch candy (more prominent right after opening)
Palette: ripe pineapple, vanilla, white flower, honeysuckle, buttery & silky mouthfeel, decadent
Overall: A wine unlike any other I've had. So decadent & smooth with a complexity that could keep your mind occupied for hours. Truly an experience. When we first opened it, it was like a butterscotch candy but after hours of air, it became more complex and like a ripe pineapple. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy again, nor would I say it's a wine I can sit around and drink a lot of but it's quite an incredible experience to try and that it was my points will be based on.
