Saturday, May 29, 2021 - APPEARANCE: Medium garnet. A lot of sediment. 14.0% ABV.
NOSE: Plum marmalade, old leather, farmyard, well hung meat, camphor, sage, estragon, dates, honey, black currant juice. (90p)
TASTE: Mature, lovely sweet fruit, medium rich body, plums, dates, figs. Slightly drying finish. (89-90p)
OVERALL: Definitely mature but still drinking very nicely. TOTAL SCORE 90 points.
