Sunday, July 4, 2021 - Sensational bouquet here, complex and effusive aromas of sandalwood, incense, old leather, cherries, a touch of dill, and some sour-acetic lemon zest. Definitely influenced by American oak, but completely integrated and harmonious. The palate drops off after the bouquet, but still very good with silky, woodsmoke-infused cherries with plenty of lemony freshness. 92-93 pts.
