Monday, August 9, 2021 - Great wine - big rich with a classic Tuscan structure of good acidity and high earthy tannins, balanced by a significant weight of fruit. Still nicely primary, which was a surprise given it's age. However the classic Brunello tertiary notes of sun baked dry earth and leather and coming through. As I prefer my wine more primary than tertiary this is a really nice place to drink now but it will drink well for another decade at least. As always with good Brunello there is real depth to wine wine. Long finish and plenty of complexity.
