Monday, September 6, 2021 - One of the better village chambolles I have ever had. Young but drinking well now with enough air. Tried a sip on opening and got a lot of red cherry fruit but with a slight tannic bite.

Two hours in the decanter did wonders for the wine. The nose was slightly floral after air and I got the sous bois I look for in burgundy. There was enough fruit and acidity to lay this down for a few more years. Nice long, 20-30 second finish. Good on it’s own and sang with food.
