Textbook Chambolle. Elegant, red-fruited nose with damp earth. Palate was tight at first and didn't match up to the nose but after a few hours it became more giving, with ripe but not overtly sweet raspberry and cherry fruit, very finely grained tannins. Love classic vintages like 2014.

A very nice nose but has this medicinal acidic finish that I just can't seem to ignore. Gonna let it breathe in the hotel room until I get back later, hopefully it will get better... 🤞 It didn't. :(

One of the better village chambolles I have ever had. Young but drinking well now with enough air. Tried a sip on opening and got a lot of red cherry fruit but with a slight tannic bite.
Two hours in the decanter did wonders for the wine. The nose was slightly floral after air and I got the sous bois I look for in burgundy. There was enough fruit and acidity to lay this down for a few more years. Nice long, 20-30 second finish. Good on it’s own and sang with food.

This is a really nice village Chambolle with very good depth and concentration to its rich, earthy, dark red and blue fruit. There’s also some greenish, brambly sous bois notes with abit of spice on its longish finish. Tonight this is drinking well above its level.

Veldig godt!
