Friday, September 24, 2021 - Distinctly tropical notes but not sweet or cloying. This is a Burgundy that can substitute for Sauternes in pairing with foie gras, but it lacks the residual sugar of course. I expect this vintage for Coche will be quite stellar in time for their higher cuvees, this villages is an interesting window to the vintage.
