Sunday, September 26, 2021 - Opened and decanted. The wine is dark ruby to purple and the nose is chocolate and earth. An initial sip is full of dark chocolate, concentrated blackberry, with cocoa, cassis, and a hint of tobacco. Not a fruit-bomb at all but a very deep, dark merlot that aspires to be so much more and well balanced, too. I strongly recommend this wine
