Sunday, October 3, 2021 - Pnp and it was fairly clear that some decanting probably would have been a good idea as this was closed and tight to begin with but after the food (veal chops) it opened up and softened considerably, merging nicely with the remnants of the cream and mushroom sauce on the palate. A good but not great Volnay.
