Monday, October 18, 2021 - Fresh, lively and acidic. Certainly refreshing as an aperitif, but lacking much else at this point. Nose mainly of green fruits, apples, pears and a hint of secondary aromas of honey. Palate more basic, and certainly thought it would have evolved more by now. If you’d only tasted this, you may struggle to see what the fuss is about with the 2012 vintage.
Appears to still be young but there is aging potential here hence the +. Probably won’t bother to open another bottle for another 4-5 years.
