Thursday, November 4, 2021 - Light red colour. Subdued nose with cherries, some spice notes that give me an impression of some oak, hints of orange zest and some perfume. Medium body, red berries and cherries, good acidity, gravelly mineral, and medium tannins. Rather dark fruit notes for an "entry-level" Barolo and while not too complicated, on my palate this wine could benefit from some more time in the cellar. I guess it's the vintage speaking. 88(+) pts.
