Sunday, November 23, 2014 - With the 2009 gone, it seems only appropriate to now break out the 2010. Apricot, white grapefruit, tangerine and diesel on the nose. Those elements carry through on the palate with precision. Anise and white stone fruit fill out the palate. The fruits’ attack has a distinct sweetness, yet the wine finishes clean and minerally-dry. The mouthfeel is round. Eventually, the wine develops a nutty, almost almond-like finish. 12% alc. With blanc du veau; an ok pairing but nothing more. Recommended, leaning toward Highly Recommended.
