Just as it usually is and better than the last bottle, but yet, the fruit is definitely not as bright as it was 2 bottels ago at the first of the year. DDB mistook this for a Rousanne due to some diesel aspect, but the wine shows more grapefruit, basil, almond and mineral than anything diesel. With scallops dusted with pistachio.

The fruit seems to be falling off at a precipitous rate. Either that or this is just bottle variation, but either way, this was not a desirable bottle. With pad thi and chicken satay.

With the 2009 gone, it seems only appropriate to now break out the 2010. Apricot, white grapefruit, tangerine and diesel on the nose. Those elements carry through on the palate with precision. Anise and white stone fruit fill out the palate. The fruits’ attack has a distinct sweetness, yet the wine finishes clean and minerally-dry. The mouthfeel is round. Eventually, the wine develops a nutty, almost almond-like finish. 12% alc. With blanc du veau; an ok pairing but nothing more. Recommended, leaning toward Highly Recommended.

Exceptional quality and length for the price. Drinking even better than last fall, as some of the rough edges have smoothed out. Lemon herbs on the nose. Tart gooseberries, grapefruit, honey, saline, and apricots on the palate, which leads into a world-class finish of lemon-herb textured goodness. Great producer, great vintage, great wine. Drink now-2020.

Lovely stuff. Racy dry white with a kiss of terroir and nice acids. Terrific complexity that evolved and improved over the course of a fine meal. One to track down.

Straw, pale yellow with a tint of green. Nose of musty lemons, dried earth, and a strain of barnyard funk. Palate brought tight, compact ripe grapefruit, sea salt, olives, brine, and a touch of creamy vanilla honeysuckle with a tart lemon on the finish. Sipped throughout the evening but went better with take-out Thai; probably amazing with shellfish. Drinking good now but will probably mature nicely 2014-2020.

Nose of honey, lime and green apple, very crisp and refreshing with a little hint of sweetness on the palate, food friendly and particularly good with shellfish. Excellent value. Wait a year or two or let it breathe.

Moldy cork and dark color. Something was off here, maybe oxidized, but there was still enjoyment. Peach nectar and golden apple. Might buy another to see what a good bottle can do.

This wasn't showing much and swirling didn't help open it up. My Spidey senses tell me a year or two in the cellar will help it blossom. It showed some honey and white fruit. It wasn't as acidic as some Huet and Foreau from 2008 and 2009 I've tried in the last couple of years but there's a nice core of acidity. There's a good finish. I bought this. A Kermit Lynch import.

At The Westerly: sharp edgy mineral at first, but then on the palate, flowers and lime. Combined the best qualitites of an austere chablis and trocken riesling. Will look to buy some of this

This wine is a huge success with PMB. Loads of white flower, honeysuckle. This bottle showed better than the last 2. With shrimp diablo.

Pale lemon coloured with a tight nose. Unlike the aromatics, the palate is powerful and open with honeyed apple and a long weighty finish.
