Medium bodies with wonderful red fruit, moderate-but-clearly-defined acidity and confidently-persuasive tannins - definitely more powerful than many other pinots, but wonderfully seamless and tasty. Likely deserves a higher rating, but I was already under the influence of two previous wines and am choosing to be conservative. With proper decanting it is a gorgeous wine to drink now - likely already at its plateau - but there is no rush. Great for read meats and game, but likely too strong for poultry
