Saturday, December 18, 2021 - Coravin pour, 3 hours in glass. Deep inky violet color, high opacity. Nose is is a little more reticent than I recall on the 18, with violets, boysenberry, lilac, slight ethanol, and hints of something that reminds me of `nilla wafer cookies (though without the sweetness). Palate is consistent, full bodied but with a floral freshness that gives it levity, black and purple fruit, black plum, light vanilla. Medium acidity, tannins are medium-light with medium coarseness.
Fantastic QPR, drinking well with some air. 93-94
