Sunday, January 2, 2022 - late disgorgement - a fantastic rendition of one of my favorite wines from Krug. Disgorged in 2017 and released a couple years later. Precise and focused deep yellow fruit with spice and nutty edges. Right now the late disgorgement creates a bit of a disjointed wine, where the oxidative aged notes on along the edges while the fruit is bright and piercing in the middle.     1/8/2022 4:40:00 PM - Last week I had the late release of the original bottling - not a Collection/late disgorgement. Although it still maintained the power and nutty flavors I think it has lost a bit of vibrancy compared to a few years ago. Still a solid wine.
