Monday, February 21, 2022 - Gareth's Cru Bourgeois Dinner (Hawksmoor, Guildhall, London): Blackcurrant fruit, some red-toned fruit coming through too, touch of soy (in a good way), quite exotic, complex, some cigar box coming through. Medium bodied, dark fruit, tobacco, some smoky mineral, soft tannins - lovely mouthfeel in fact, fresh acidity, quite long too. Excellent, drinking well.
