Red and dark berries, chocolate, cocoa, spice, and light balsamic notes, with good acidity, well-integrated tannin, and very good length. The oak has integrated better over the last two years. The medium-bodied wine is firm and restrained. There is a light cocoa bitterness on the finish that is quite intriguing. By day two, the acidity is a little more pronounced and the tannin is a little dryer. Should continue to develop and drink well over the medium term. Very good value.
