Monday, March 28, 2022 - tasting this alongside the 2000 vintage. this has all the hallmarks of a great foillard côte du py. all the front-loaded fruit of a young beaujolais with a depth that promises years of interesting development. out of the gate... i find this more promising on the palate than the 2019 was a year ago (2020 today reminds me of 2003 when it was first released) and i look forward to tracking how it develops. will definitely heavy up on this one as i suspect it will be a pleasure all along the way...
