92 Points

Saturday, April 23, 2022 - Nose with ripe green apples, mineral, toasted notes that shows some of the oak, as well as just a hint of green notes. Fine concentration on the palate, high acidity, again green apples and mineral, long and fresh aftertaste. Young now, could possibly improve with aging, 92(+) pts.

I'm not very impressed by 2011s in general, but this is a good effort for the vintage (which seems to be better for blanc de blancs). While it goes have weight and shows its oak influence, it isn't quite a stereotypical CdC: it's not quite as concentrated or vinous as they usually are, and the nose currently goes more in the direction of toasted notes (think Dom P) rather than smoky notes. Perhaps a bit more of a typical BdB than a CdC.
