Wednesday, May 11, 2022 - Opened for a dinner later tonight. I just had a glass of the 2007 Brovia Rocche and I prefer this wine initially. It's tighter and fresher on the palate, and also showing quite a bit of red fruit. Nose is better/more focused off the pop and pour as well. Slight medicinal note on the finish - hard to believe these two wines are from the same vintage/producer given how differently they show on opening.
