This bottle was personally cellared for 13 plus years, showed excellent balance, ripe cherries dominate the palate with hints of cassis, plum and a good dose of minerals on the finish, there was a touch of austerity that actually added to the complexity of this Barolo. Paired extremely well with an assortment of Italian cold cuts, cheeses and olives.
