Saturday, May 14, 2022 - This wine offered a fascinating journey over the course of a dinner. At first showed tight and youthful, all lemony fresh, tart and tasty with good intensity and a long engaging saline finish. Two hours later it had transformed into a bigger richer wine. Nose was more lemon but also some lanolin and Chenin Blanc like notes. The palate had filled out and softened with more lemon, bigger and richer and more engaging. Perhaps a little more developed but utterly lovely. I will wait a few more years for the next bottle but I wouldn’t decant for many hours, instead it is fun to experience the wine on PnP and then again a few hours later as it transforms.
