Thursday, June 2, 2022 - The color of this wine is different from Brian’s usual deep, opaque purple-red. This is more of a translucent ruby. The nose delivers cherries, Dr. Pepper, cloves, cinnamon and orange zest. The palate replicates the nose. The fruit is sweet and satisfying as most of Brian’s wines are. The first and last sip are very similar; this is not a wine the evolves in the glass. But it is a fulsome wine. 14.3% alc. With roasted salmon under walnuts. 06.02.22. Recommended.
