Wednesday, January 4, 2006 - Pale golden color. Pears and toasty oak aromas on the nose. Palate is well-balanced, with crisp, bright fruit, a little butter and oak, with a tanginess on the finish. Will improve a bit with another year or two. Much better for my taste than the 2003.
