Monday, June 20, 2022 - Definitely less accessible and open compared to the Oreno 2015 JY shared with us half a year ago, this 2007 was both tight as well as stubborn!

Nose was muted, the colour of the wine made me guess it was circa 2014 (so wrong!!) and the blackfruits and blackcurrant notes were all there.

However, the Chinese herbal notes on the nose, then later on the palate too was off-putting. Perhaps these were some barnyard notes?

Super Tuscan made of 50% Sangiovese, and 25% Merlot and 25% CS. Thanks SKT for sharing this blind pour, where we got this so wrong both in vintage and varietal!
